Meet Nikkie

Hi, I’m Nikkie—wife, mom of two, proud dog mom to Coco, my Frenchie, and Raven, my Cane Corso, and the founder of FlexSculpt Pilates.

I was born in New Jersey, raised in Massachusetts, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UMass Boston. My love for people, movement, and helping others feel their best naturally led me to Pilates. Today, I am a 500-hour comprehensively certified Pilates instructor who believes movement should feel empowering, supportive, and accessible to everyone.

I am also a mental-health and suicide-prevention advocate. I have lived with ADHD, severe anxiety, and depression throughout my life. That journey has taught me the importance of compassion, support, rest, asking for help, and finding healthy ways to care for both the mind and body.

For me, movement has never been about changing my body or chasing perfection. It has been a powerful tool for grounding myself, releasing stress, building confidence, and reconnecting with who I am—especially during difficult seasons. Pilates gives me space to breathe, slow down, focus, and show up for myself one movement at a time.

I share this because I know so many people are carrying things that others cannot see. At FlexSculpt Pilates, I want people to feel they do not have to have it all together to begin. You can come tired, overwhelmed, nervous, new to movement, or simply needing an hour for yourself. You are welcome here.

Pilates has my heart because it is so much more than a workout. It is a way to build strength, improve mobility, reconnect with your body, and create confidence that carries into everyday life. My goal is to help every client feel capable—whether you are stepping onto a reformer for the first time, returning to movement after time away, or looking to challenge yourself in a new way.

As a Black woman in the Pilates industry, I am passionate about creating more representation, diversity, and inclusion in wellness spaces. FlexSculpt Pilates is a place where all bodies, all backgrounds, and all fitness levels are welcome. I want every person who walks into my class to feel seen, safe, encouraged, and supported.

Come as you are. Move with purpose. Leave feeling stronger.

THE JOURNEY

From Athlete to Architect of Motion

Nikkie’s journey began on the competitive stage, where she discovered the transformative power of disciplined movement. With over a decade of high-performance training and a rigorous background in kinesiology, she transitioned from a dedicated athlete to a visionary educator. Her approach merges technical precision with an editorial aesthetic, crafting a Pilates experience that is as restorative as it is challenging. Today, she leads FlexSculpt with a philosophy rooted in the belief that refined motion is the ultimate luxury for the body and mind.

Modern Alignment, Rooted in Heart

FlexSculpt Pilates — Diverse bodies. Resilient minds. Inclusive movement.

The FlexSculpt method is a comprehensive approach to modern Pilates, designed for every unique body. Nikkie's method shifts away from rigid classical traditions to prioritize inclusive biomechanical flow, ensuring each session feels accessible yet effective. It is more than a workout; it is a holistic practice of functional strength and personal empowerment, tailored to those seeking a supportive and contemporary space.
